How to optimize your images

Photos are the first section of the property information that appears on the property website, and they also have a large impact on your SEO. This is your client’s first impression of the property, and here are a few helpful tips to help you optimize that opportunity to make a great first impression.

  1. Descriptive file names: 123-main-street-lobby.jpeg
  2. Size: 1440 pixels x 900 pixels or below 1 MB are the recommended file sizes for the Hero Image, as this will help to reduce page load time.
  3. File Type: JPG and JPEG are the formats that allow for the best compression and will enable the page to load faster. You can use PNG, but these files do tend to be larger.
