Syndication best practices

Important Tips

Listings for lease

Make sure to enable the “Availability” module within the CMS and include all appropriate availability information for each available unit. Most importantly, the type of property/listing and square feet. Without this information, potential clients won’t be able to find your properties based on filtering within the listing engine.

Listings for sale

Make sure to include the total size of the property (price is also recommended) in the “Site Configuration” module within the CMS.

Answers to commonly asked questions:

Can I enable the syndication for the entire account or per listing?

You can have both options. When enabling the partner for the entire account, all listings will become available for syndication. If there are listings that should not be enabled, you can access each one separately and disable the connection only for them.

What happens when the partner is enabled?

When the connection is enabled, you will first see an icon with the label “Pending”. This means we published your listings in the syndication feed, but the partner is still due to pull it and publish it on their platform. Once the icon is updated to “Active”, the data was published to the specific partner network.

All inquiries through the partner portals will be sent directly to one of the members of your team.
